1. Geographic Fulfillment Scope and Routing Restrictions

• 1.1. Origin of Dispatch: All ultra-premium durian orders placed on this storefront are packed and dispatched directly from our vertically integrated, export-certified cold-chain facilities located in Raub (Pahang) and Kepis (Negeri Sembilan), Malaysia.
• 1.2. Taiwan Exclusion: This policy applies exclusively to international destinations. No shipping services are provided to Taiwan under any configuration through this portal. All requests for delivery inside Taiwan are rejected and redirected to our local distributor’s independent last-mile cold-chain network.

2. Revised Risk Transfer Breakdown by Region

• 2.1. Primary Target Markets (China and Hong Kong): Due to specific market trends and our white-glove consumer protection strategy, DDK assumes all cross-border logistics risks for these destinations.
  • DDK Retention of Risk: DDK retains full transit liability, title, and ownership of the goods through all phases of international air freight, warehouse handling, and local transport.
  • Moment of Transfer: Risk of product degradation, thawing, or physical damage transfers to the Customer only at the exact moment of physical delivery and receipt at the Customer’s designated shipping address.
• 2.2. All Other Authorized International Destinations: For all other authorized non-Taiwan international countries, the moment of risk transfer remains at the point of origin. DDK is absolved of all logistical liabilities once the packaged product is handed over to the third-party air cargo handler or international courier inside Malaysia.

3. Packaging Engineering and Cold-Chain Continuity

• 3.1. Standard Protective Insulation: All fresh, vacuum-sealed seed-pulp configurations and deep-frozen durian items are housed inside high-density expandable polystyrene (EPS) containers reinforced with localized thermal barrier multi-layer films.
• 3.2. Temperature Regulation Mediums: Shipments are stabilized using calibrated dry ice configurations or food-grade chemical refrigerant gel cells calculated to secure freezing parameters across estimated transit lifecycles.

4. Regional Customs Duties and Clearance Remediation

• 4.1. Fully Pre-Paid Settlement Structure (China and Hong Kong): For shipments routed into China and Hong Kong, the final retail pricing reflects absolute duty pre-clearance. DDK assumes 100% financial and legal liability for import filings. DDK coordinates with its customs clearing intermediaries to settle all border excise fees and customs tariffs directly. No auxiliary fiscal demands will be presented to the Customer at the border.
• 4.2. Unpaid Boundary Duties (Rest of the World): For all other global nations, all items are shipped Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU). The Customer serves as the sovereign importer and must resolve border payment obligations to prevent local warehouse gridlocks.

5. Logistics Force Majeure Exclusions

5.1. Scope of Delays: DDK is not responsible for transit delays, thermal degradation, or delivery failures resulting from events outside its control, including severe weather groundings, general airport congestion, unexpected customs inspection backlogs (outside China/HK), or local courier labor strikes.

6. Delivery Attempts and Customer Availability Criteria

• 6.1. Perishable Product Delivery Mandate: Because frozen durian is a highly perishable agricultural item that degrades quickly if exposed to ambient temperatures, the Customer owes a duty of care to facilitate seamless delivery execution.
• 6.2. Requirement for Physical Presence: The Customer must provide a precise, verifiable physical delivery address and a valid phone number. The Customer must ensure an authorized individual is present at the target destination during the scheduled delivery window to receive the package and immediately transfer the items into specialized deep-freeze storage.
• 6.3. Consequences of Delivery Failure: DDK is fully absolved of any refund or replacement obligations if a shipment is destroyed, delayed, or spoiled due to:
  • Erroneous, incomplete, or unverified delivery address inputs provided by the Customer during checkout;
  • The local courier’s inability to complete delivery because no authorized person was present to receive the package;
  • Delivery refusal by residential management or corporate security offices at the designated address.
